I’m not awfully inspired to write today, but I will anyways.
P: So, what do you think of the pyramids, then?
I: What do you mean?
P: Man-made or alien-assisted?
I: I have zero knowledge about that, so I´m going to go with man-made.
P: So, you really don´t know much about the pyramids, their size, the types of materials….right?
I: Right. I probably should get myself to check this topic. I´m this clueless probably because I never really got into History and documentaries. I always had a couple of friends who usually showed more interest in that, while I´ve always been more inclined towards new tech and more recent pop culture, or just other things and not that.
P: That´s understandable. Now, wake up.
It truly is a dream
So many conversations could go like this, too:
P: So, what do you think of the pyramids, then? (Ego is back on! You know this is out of your depth, and you might even look stupid going into this topic)
I: What do you mean?
P: Man-made or alien-assisted?
I: I think man-made. (You coul´ve said “no idea/you tell me”, but your ego still feels like getting away with its ways)
P: Why? How do you then explain the size of the pyramids and the materials? And how about the fact that there aren’t any findings pointing to humans having enough tech to pull that off back then?
At this point, your hurting ego is ready to make it worse in a number of ways, because it is such a resourceful fellow. You could go into an argument. You could leave questions unanswered in order to be the one asking the questions.
By doing so, you are looking for a shift of power, or at least a way to say goodbye that moment when your ego was down. And you know what, it could´ve been a conversation.
