Let’s pick the first of the 9 emotions we are learning today as part of the vocabulary to describe myself: happiness. I need you to absorb my questions and I need you to finish the lesson being able to ask yourself questions like the many examples you are about to read.
What’s your goal: To get fresh ideas in order to ask yourself varied questions to cover a range of ideas, interactions, ways to speak, topics to speak about, etc. More than “getting fresh ideas”, you need to learn them. Take your time.

3. Contentment
Did you look it up to have an exact, or more precise perception of its meaning? I do that all the time, and the benefits are undeniable. Get on that train, too.
Are you feeling contentment now?
How do you express contentment with your body? I smile, I suppose, and look pleased. Explore the many ideas you will come up with.
Think about EVERY person that makes you feel contentment. Are they the same ones that make you feel happiness and joy? Write about it. Understand it.

4. Elation
Did you look it up to have an exact, or more precise perception of its meaning? Now we are trying to get those very tiny differences between all the tones of, let’s say, a similar emotion.
Are you feeling elation now? When was the last time you remember feeling like that. Was that regular for you? Think about your relationship with elation, and get to know yourself in that aspect, if you haven’t.
Think of your closest human. Have you seen them projecting elation? Write some sentences of instances you remember. It’s OK if it takes you some time. Still, try to write some sentences.
Think about your sources of elation, and think about why they produce elation in you. Understand and connect elation to your life.

5-Satisfaction
Go back to this morning. Think about what made you feel your first satisfaction. Why?
Are you feeling satisfaction or dissatisfaction now? How do you know?
Are you thinking enough about this? You need to give yourself the chance to learn these more abstract notions because you still need to anchor words to realities. Keep focus
Write about satisfaction. Pronounce your own words out loud. How are your levels of satisfaction right now?

6-Amusement
Look it up. Now explain it to yourself.
Go back and look it up again. Maybe try a couple of other sources. You will see that the definitions will somewhat change. Build a better idea now with all of that information.
Maybe you felt that the practice right above was a bit more complex. Maybe it took you more time, even, and more effort. Now, if you didn’t do it, try again, step by step. Every sentence counts.
Why are amusement parks called amusement parks? Is that the same idea of amusement you had from checking dictionaries before? Explore this idea.

7-Pleasure
Is amusement the same as pleasure? Let’s check pleasure in the dictionary.
When you think about pleasure, what images come to mind? Write some sentences.
Think about what used to give you pleasure when you were younger; when you were a kid; in another moment of your life. Why did that change?
Do you only like people who produce pleasure on you?

8-Bliss
Look it up. Now explain it to yourself. Name other words that are related to it.
Repeat the previous exercise but now compare the words you remembered with bliss.
Think about what could happen for you to feel bliss.
Name 5 people. Write their names. Visualize the first one and think about what you could do to produce bliss for them. Explore the ideas to understand how bliss works in your life, so take your time.

9-Serenity
Back to the dictionary. At this point of your lesson time, how much serenity do you feel? Why? Is that more or less than at the beginning? What changed?
Notice that, just with a bit of intention, you can create patterns of thought, and you can learn how to better exploit yourself to learn better.
If you tell yourself that, by analyzing serenity, you will understand it and learn how to use it, you might end up doing just that. Why not?
Back to work, think about how serenity mixes with other emotions. Do they collide and crash or do they survive together? It might be hard to imagine, but focus until you get to that point.
Could you define what serenity means to you only with examples?
Am I advanced? Do I need more vocabulary to describe myself?
LONG LIST, I know. It covers a range of emotions and their associated adjectives (qualities), providing a more comprehensive understanding of the diverse ways we experience and express our feelings.

TIP: It will be too much for one learning session. you also need to be proficient at dividing amounts of content to learn, because if you get overwhelmed by the process, you will probably stop learning English. Try to learn 10 words a day, but make sure you learn them well. I’ve already taught you how to.
